Apple has some great little known but great budget management and accounting software! I have the packages linked to version tracker!

Another good program is: Accounts which is a pro style accrual based accounting program that is better for business use!

Tutorial:
First you need to set up your accounts! Get one set from your accountant or make up one by using your bills and expenses! Do that now!
Set up cash! Expenses!
Loans! Etc.
Everything is set up like a checkbook, hence the name!
There is a neat feature
where you click on the accounts icon and a drawer opens up on the right and you can edit or delete or add accounts there easily!
In preferences in the file menu: You can set currency even speak entries and set passwords for security!
This program is superb with some pre set types or categories for common transactions. You can split transactions and import and export quicken, text, and database files.
This program gets 5 out of 5 gold bars! Outstanding! Cheaper than quicken and it can do just as much you can add investment accounts. The reporting is superb! So is the interface! Get it at version tracker! www.versiontracker.com. Go to the mac and budget programs!
