has an easy to use interface, first go to www.ragesw.com and download the package.
Then drag it over to the applications directory and copy it there. Then for easy use drag the application icon to the dock so you can easily use it.
double click on web design to load the program.
Next, We will start a sample project. Call it Patty's Child City Blog and use xhtml transitional for the type of page.
Click on create after you enter your name, language, and character set.
You will now have a page.
install as above.
Start up EazyDraw.
Drag any graphics you make in eazy draw or made in appleworks and import into eazydraw. You can drag any pictures into web design by clicking on the picture icon and making sure the picture is linked to the web page.
You should make a file folder and put all the images into it.
There should be a main folder named for your project and the images folder inside of it.
Add any text. You can use an idea from another web page design. Just make sure you use your own graphics and your own original text so you don't violate any copyrights.
We will draw a logo in Eazydraw now. Follow our directions:
First, use the star tool and drag out a star.
Then select tools and select red for the outline color.
Then draw a circle and color it yellow using the gradient tools.
Then select a smaller circle and use red to fill it using the gradient fill tool. Postion the smaller circle inside the larger circle and the yellow circle inside the star.
Use the othe star tool to create a small star and use the fill tool to fill it in white. position it inside the red circle at the top.
next select the text tool and drag out a 2 inch box.
select 36 for the size and type the letter "p" in capital letter format. then size the rest of the letters at 14 points and type out Patty's Child City Blog"
Select the shadow tool and make a drop shadow for the letters. Save the graphic with any name you want.
Save the page in web design using a descriptive name. Then Drag the image onto web design. First, Use the group feature under the format menu and group all the objects you drew by selecting them while holding the shift key down and then select grouping and group. Then you will be able to drag the image. However, you must use the file menu and click export and use the .gif format for the picture and save it in the pictures folder on your drive so it may be referenced easily. You can use the same export menu to save in any widely available image format.
Add text and any other images you want and then save.
After you are done, you will need a hosting account.
If you want, go to this site and order a hosting plan. you can get one for as little as $3.99 a month! Then go to tools and use the check site and prepare site tools. create a folder called Patty's Child City and save everything to it.
After you are done preparing the site. Use the open from ftp dialog box and fill in the correct info in the server, password and username fields. Use public-html or whatever name your web host uses for the public directory they store your files in. Hit connect when you are ready and upload the files. When you are done, the site will be published and will be live. You now have a live web site! congrats! you did it!
